This 2-day TMJ Disorder and TENS Therapy Programme is designed to provide dental professionals with a focused, hands-on approach to diagnosing and managing temporomandibular joint dysfunction. The course covers comprehensive TMJ anatomy, occlusal dynamics, and the multifactorial nature of TMJ disorders—including myofascial pain, disc displacement, and parafunctional habits. Participants will learn clinical examination techniques, muscle palpation, and occlusal analysis, alongside the therapeutic application of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) for muscle relaxation and pain relief. The programme emphasizes case selection, splint therapy, bite registration, and integration of TENS in both diagnostic and treatment phases. With live demonstrations and guided practice, clinicians will gain confidence in managing TMJ-related symptoms and improving patient comfort through non-invasive, evidence-based protocols.
