Course Agenda

ROTARY ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

 20 - Root Canal Treatments (1-2 Apexifiation, Root canal treatments in peri-apical abscess or peri-apical cyst, intentional Root canal treatment for full mouth rehabilitation. All root canal treatments will be aided by Rotary Endodontic instruments,Apex locators, Ultrasonic Irrigant Activator, RVG for Radiography, Electronic Gutta percha cutters, lateral condensation by Spreaders or ultrasonics , all instruments will be provided by IADPE )

EXTRACTIONS

 15-20 extraction (1-3 impaction) ( All extractions planned by Pre-operative RVG and performed either using elevators, luxators, forceps or tooth splitting techniques, suturing post extraction wounds, management of dry socket etc)

 TOOTH PREPARATIONS FOR CROWN AND BRIDGES

 Tooth preparation : 14-20 (includes full mouth Rehabilitation , and multiple fixed partial dentures. All tooth preparations done using specific burs for designing according to case selection ie. Full metal, metal- porcelain , E-max, Zirconia etc. Various materials including materials to determine oclussal clearance , bite registration and for impression taking will be provided )

POST AND CORE

 1-3 (steps include : Post space creation, placement of glass fibre-post or fibre post and para core build up )

 PERIODONTAL SURGERY

 1 Flap surgery , 1 other periodontal surgery ( may include either observation or performing of periodontal surgery like vestibulo-plasty, labial frenectomy , lingual frenectomy, crown lengthening , flap surgery, bone graft placement, PRF membrane placement, LASER assisted surgeries)

 PEDODONTICS

1-2 ( crown selection, adjustments in Pulpectomy : 2-4( steps include : concious sedation , Rotary files in Pediatric pulpectomy, Stainless steel crowns ) Stainless steel crown , and cementation)

COMPLETE DENTURE

1 (based on case availability ,either observation or performing all step individually)

ANTERIOR AND POSTERIOR COMPOSITES

 2 (Injectable and layering techniques of composites, rubber Dam Isolation and polishing covered)
